Is my country a civilization?

Culture: In Korea, we wear Han-Bok for clothes when we celebrate Chinese New Year or religious festivals. Girls wear a long skirts and a Korean-style coat. Boys wear a pants and the coat. We have Kim-Chi, our cultural food that is healthy for our body and Asian people also eat. We also have other cultural things in Korea.

Religion:
Korea have two main religious which are Christians and
Buddhism. There are some huge temples, big and small churches. There are more churches than temples because there are many Christians. We also celebrate many festivals in a year- Chinese New Year, Easter’s Day, Christmas and others.

Writing:
Korea has different writings among Chinese, Japanese or English. We have a writing called ‘Han-Gull’. ‘Se-Jung’ King invented this writing since 1440’s. It was our special writing to avoid Chinese and make our new writing. This gives us few advantages because when we are in the war, we can give each other a secret message.

Stable Food Supply:
In Korea, we are hard to find food. To stay alive for old people, they need to trade newspapers, bottles, cans or trashes to trade money.
For farmers it’s hard for them to grow crops in winter so they grow in green house or they keep crops till autumn. Then we keep them as food in winter.

Technology:
There’s special technology in Korea which is Subway Ticketing System. We buy ticket for 1 RM. Then we put it into the insert hole. It reads the ticket and it opens the door. We also have a card we can just swipe it and use credits.

Government:
Unlike some countries, my country also has a president. In the past, there was a president called ‘Kim Dae Jung’ made the country strong and peaceful. The president which is now is also helping and saving an economy problem. We are also like Sumerians because we must obey the president as a king.
Social Structure: There aren’t any levels of jobs in Korea but in the past there were levels of jobs. There are 4 levels of jobs. The lowest was called “Yoo-Min”, second lowest was called “Seo Min”.
